Shubunkin Fish Died, and we don't know what killed it?

Our Fish has been in our pond for 7-8 years. This morning we found it floating and it's sides had turned white. It's been long adjusted to our pond, and there have never been any problems with any of the fish. Some of the other ones are acting strange now too...any idea's of what could have happened?
