Shrek III: For those who have watched it

Anyone help me out with a question re Fiona's posse of Fairy Tale Ladies In Waiting. Was the Tranny type character meant to be one of the Ugly Sisters gone over to the good side? :)

I loved #3, I fear I may be amongst only a few. It made me laugh out loud and that's what counts.

There's no room for a fourth, but it's very tempting to hope that Puss In Boots gets a half hour TV special! :D

They've already commissioned a 4th and a 5th film, along with an hour long Christmas special this year (in America at least, don't know when it will air here) and a Puss in Boots spinoff film.

That's right, because the other ugly sister works behind the bar in the tavern near the start of the film - she/he mentions then that they don't talk about the other sister anymore.

Of course, they all make up at the end.

Did they change the Ugly Sisters voice to Jonathan Ross again? Or did they just stick to Larry King this time?

Was no bloody point in changing the voices to start with.

It was Larry King in Shrek the Third, as it was in the US release of Shrek 2. So really, it was totally nonsensical because for UK viewers (s)he had a totally different voice from the last film.

I hate it when they mess about with the voices anyway. In the second one, they changed the voice of a character who was quite clearly Joan Rivers, to Kate Thornton. It was ridiculous. They should just leave them as they originally are.

See also: Jeremy Clarkson providing a replacement voice in the UK release of Cars. Not quite as bad, since the character wasn't actually seen on screen.

I noticed the lack of J Ross in the film - maybe he was too busy - or upset the film makers over a review of one of their other films so they left him out.......

We've been to see it this afternoon. I thought it was great and my 7 year old son absolutely loved it - laughing all the way through and that's what it's about...the kiRAB. :D

I also noticed Ross' voice had disappeared and an american accent in its place. I assumed because it was a much larger role than the few lines he'd had before.
