I can't wait until I can buy it on DVD. I've seen the first one so many times, I know I'll wear this one out too.

Sorry about the spoilers...but really, I thought it was ok when ppl started to post dialogues from the movies...

So that isn't spoiling the fun???

Excuse me then.

I saw the first one by accident too. I was flying here from Europe 3 years ago, and the movie was on, on the plane. I liked it so I ended up renting it later on, and I fell in love with it. Can't wait for the 2nd one now...

I saw this movie and I loved it! It was so funny! Definately as good, or even better than the original. I definately recommend seeing it.

Watched this movie last night. It is awesome! It is at least as good as the original, as it truly is just a continuation of the story.

Besides having Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots, it also has Julie Andrews as the queen and John Cleese as Prince Charming.

Also, watch for all of the allusions to Disney cartoons and characters. Some are plain to see (because Disney has made a lot of movies based on Fairy Tales), but others are more subtle.

It is definitely worth watching!

there we go.... more Shrek movies.....

'Shrek 2' success to spawn more sequels

Record-breaking "Shrek 2" cast a bigger boxoffice spell than first imagined, convincing distributor DreamWorks SKG that even grumpy green ogres can live happily after after -- at least for two more sequels. The head of DreamWorks animation, Ann Daly, said that with the success of "Shrek 2," the studio would move ahead, one at a time, with plans for a third and fourth installment. "It wasn't really advisable to start working on three and four until we knew that we actually had something in two, and certainly this weekend confirmed that we do," she said. Daly said DreamWorks was in final talks with the principal voice actors to return, including Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz as the newlywed green ogres with horn-shaped ears, Eddie Murphy as the talking Donkey, and Antonio Banderas as the swashbuckling Puss in Boots. I saw this movie, and I loved it! I think that it is better than the original.

I missed the ending, after the credits that show the dragon-donkey babies...:pout:

Oh well...I guess I'll just have to go see it again...:D

I loved the first movie so I'll give the second one a chance even though sequels rarely live up to the hype. Still, donkey's cute, so that'll be fun at least.

Can I just say I'm almost 25 years old and I saw this movie last night and I :love:d it?!? :D:D The story, the characters, the lines....everything was perfect and funny! I could not stop laughing. And the addition of Antonio Banderas as Puss n' Boots....great casting! He was hilarious....

saw this on sunday at the awesome movie theater the Cinerama, Shrek 2 was great, one laugh after another, and it acheived on being a good sequal. The movie was a total blast.... I thought the script was pretty good..... The movie computer graphics were amazing, their were a few moments that almost looked real in the movie. It was great see the cast back to, all did a great job.... the addition of Puss in the Boots was great...... Will be picking this up on dvd when it comes out.... Nice job Dreamworks.......

I'm definitely going to see this - it looks like it could be even better than the original and it's got some great vocal talent. I'm looking forward to seeing what Antonio Banderas is like and of course Eddie Murphy, because I thought he was fantastic as the donkey first time around :D

Saw it tonight and loved it - 'I'm a real boy!'

Anyone know the name of the song that played when I think Shrek got up in the middle of the night and looked through the diary and the lyrics kept saying something like 'Everybody's happy.' Thanks for any help.

I saw it again yesterday since my friend and I were bored and we had nothing to do. It's still even funny the second time around.

It looks funny i might want to take my little cousin to see it instead of going with my friends.

it made $12,050,000 dollars on monday, Shrek 2 has made $141,033,000 dollars so far, so I'm guess by next weekend it'll be hitting close to 200,000,000 dollars..... Amazing #'s by this movie.....
