Shrek 2

I saw the original under pressure - I'm not big into animated things - but it was hilarious! It is one of those movies you can never get tired of. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

I cannot believe they are in talks to do a 3 & 4 though. I love Shrek but I think it just milks it too much.
 
Which it would hurry up and be released over here!! :) I think we get it around July, but I can't wait now.
 
This movie was hilarious! I saw it last night and honestly did not expect to laugh as hard as I did. I can't wait to see it again.

Sarah , I can't seem to find any screencaps either. I found some at IMDB's photo gallery for the movie but I can't seem to save them properly. *frustrated* I really want an avatar/MSN icon of Puss In Boots' sweet puppy eyes! It was the cutest thing I've seen. *awwwwww* :in_love:

Oh, and I loved hearing John Cleese and Julie Andrews voice Queen Lillian and King Harold. And Rupert Everett has a sexy voice, rowr! ;)
 
I bought the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I can't wait for this to come out on DVD. I'll probably end up seeing it again in a week or so.

next time think of the people who havent seen it yet and do not want to be spoiled before telling something big like that, especially since this thread doesnt say anywhere that you can talk freely about spoilers.

the second one was better than the first for sure.

prince charming and the fairy godmother and puss in boots were great new characters to bring into the film

lots of laughs.
 
I saw this movie today with my brother and I loved it. It was so funny and cute. I cant wait to buy the dvd and the soundtrack. Pus and donkey are so funny and Pus is too cute with the big eyes and sad face, aww I just wanted to hug him. The ending was great.

Btw does anyone have an avies of the movie?
 
Just magnificent, needed a laugh really bad but this hard I couldn't even imagine.I also cant wait for the DVD
 
I loved the movie. I don't know if I love it as much as the first, but I thinnk they're about equal in appeal. My favorite (besides Shrek himself) was definitely Puss-in-Boots.

Fiona - "Shrek?"
Puss (turning from licking himself) - "For you baby, I could be." :lol:
 
Love Shrek 2! The best cartoon sequel like someone else had said! Although it's fantastic and gave me plenty of laughter...I thought Shrek 2 might be a bit hard for some young kids to comprehend/understand. I just got this feeling...oh well, maybe it's just me!

Puss in the Boots is hilarious! His cute sad eyes! lol

I want to say more...but everything thing about Shrek 2 is so great! Not enough words for it.

It was so hilarious. A lot funnier than the first one.

I was cracking up a certain pinoccio part, the cat, and the gingerbread had me dying laughing.
 
* It was one of the best cartoon sequel I have ever seen. I was laughing so hard, and it is as funny as the first one.

* Puss in Boots was great, he stole all his scenes with some great one liners.

Fiona: Shrek?
Puss: For you baby I could be.

To Donkey
Puss: You still look like an ass to me.

Police: Catnip.
Puss: That not mine...

Bottle of milk is place in front of him in a bar
Puss: Leave the bottle.

There more I just can't remember them all.

* Donkey was still as cute as ever and I loved all his singing.

Donkey: I took some magic potion and now I'm sexy!

Donkey: So what if Fiona's father hired a sleezy hitman to whack you.
Puss hisses

Surrounded by his mutant children
Donkey: I need to get a job.

Donkey: The postion of the annoying talking animal has already been filled.

They both have some great lines.

* The storyline didn't suffer under of any of the jokes which was great. The music work with the story and not against it, I would have to say that I would definatly see this movie a second time.
 
I saw this during the weekend. It was cute, as expected, but not as cute as the original since it had all been done before, as expected.

The exception to this was Puss-In-Boots, who was SO funny I choked from laughter.
