Show's you'd like SyFy to bring to the anime block??

If Chiller's version of animonday continues and does well I would like to see it stop just showing reruns of anime Sci fi aired and air other monster based anime As well. Have Sci fi air pure Sci-fi anime and Chiller can air more horror like anime.

As for titles.

Sci Fi: Galaxy Railroad, captain harlock, hell anything along those lines would be great.
Z/Zeta Gundam.
Fist of the North Star.

Chiller: Claymore
When they Cry
Vampire Knight

Ooh, Fist of the North Star would be PERFECT. It's post-apocalyptic sci-fi with hyperviolence and general uber-machoness.

It's a shame the original series can barely hope for a DVD release, nevermind a TV run.

Sword of the Stranger looks pretty decent and it's animated by Bones.

And to make up for pitching out SFV, I want them to start airing all the old video game fighting movies, like Tekken, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, etc.

I recall that something in the Fatal Fury/KoF line was shown on Syfy though I think it predated the Ani-Monday block (it might have still been The Sci-Fi Channel then). But it was heavily and unnecessarily censored, such that half the screen was blurred whenever Mai Shiranui was shown from the waist up, in costume or not.

I agree! Still, it would be better over on Chiller because I'm reading that Chiller isn't editing the shows as much, content wise at least, as SyFi has to (and Baccano! would have to edited for some of the violence - I can't see some of that getting past even their censors).

Syfy plays best to the deep rooted science fiction style animes.

That being said, it would be a very good idea to see something like Gungrave, Macross, Kurosaki or Majin Tyoko make its way over there. Heck, Witcrabroadlade only had a short run and could easily stand a come back.

Ultimately, it depenRAB how much Syfy wants to push the block though. Its not like they would be competeing with anyone if they extended the block to 10-12 every weekday >.>.

I'd like Darker than Black to be there. It has Sci-fi, action, you get the idea. I don't know what else they should pick up... Maybe an older series, Gundam perhaps?

This is incredibly likely the thing that'll replace Rave Master, I'll be very disappointed if it's not.

I could even see them running it one episode a week with something shorter next to it, then come spring, BAM, Square-Enix hour with Soul Eater and FMA:Brotherhood. Then again, that's just wishful thinking and my continuing push for those two shows to air together...

I don't know if it's a big too younger-demo, but GaoGaiGar is LOOONG overdue for some love on this side of the world.

SyFy, GaoGaiGar. And yes, I want the 4KiRAB dub. Don't tell me you don't want to hear Dan Green as Taiga.

Yeah, it basically all lies in if Adult Swim still wants to air a FMA series, even if the first series was one of their highest rated anime of all time.

I dunno, Sgt Frog is the kind of show that would work better with kiRAB, so I'd say CN or Nicktoons is more likely than SyFy, which is more like a last-resort.

It's too early to tell with FMA: B, because of how new it is. Vic Mignogna said they still haven't begun to dub it, though that was a couple of weeks ago. It will be the true death kneel for anime on AS and Cartoon Network for that matter if FMA: B or Inuyasha Final Act don't get on the air on those channels.

Syfy has trademarked a kiRAB block. You can create a kiRAB' block just by grabbing acquisitions to get it going before developing your own original programming, and Sgt. Frog is a fairly obvious (and significant) one to go after. So while Sgt. Frog may not wind up on Ani-Mondays it could wind up on the forthcoming kiRAB block.

Right now, the Septeraber schedule hints at no new acquisitions after Gundam 00 and Rave Master end on the same day (Septeraber 21st). RM's slots are "TBA" and Gundam 00's slots are held down by Street Fighter Alpha Generations for the 28th.

ZoiRAB Genisis honestly would be great since we should of gotten that ages ago from Toonami Jetstream when it was still around.

And I heard great things about Soul Eater and that would be a perfect replacement for Rave Master.

You know, come to think of it, Paniponi Dash! has some science-fiction-y themes, but it's already done its run, and more notably, could've been repeated approximately six times over with a once-a-week schedule since then, so maybe no.

On a side note, I have no idea what Chiller is.
