anyway, wer ther shows you just love as a kid but now as an adult you look back and say "that was dumb, how could i or what did i see in that show?"

me, i used to love beyblade, i thought it was so cool and bought the toys and stuff, but now i look back and i realize that it was just a show about kids playing with spining tops and some bs magic, along with one of the most down right ridiculous plots ive ever heard and i think "WTF did i see in this show, its so stupid!!!!!".

how about you guys?

I once adored Mike, Lu & Og. But now that I finally got the time to watch it on Boomerang, I was like: "What the fudge!?" The plots are very bland, their feet looked liked a kangaroo's. The show is so boring. I only thing I still like about it is the theme song.

I'm a little wary to mention my choices because it'll reveal my true age, but here goes:

When I was a kid, I used to think The Super Globetrotters was the shizz-nite. Yeah, I realize how campy it was now, but back then, I would've given my right arm for Super Globetrotters action figures (no biggie, I'm left-handed anyway).

I'm also afraid to admit it, but I was also a fan of The Shirt Tales when it was first-run on NBC. I tried watching it again on the USA Cartoon Express for the first time in years, and I couldn't believe that I never noticed what a blatant ripoff of Care Bears that show was.

Voltron. It was the bomb, back in the day, but now, the dub quality is far worse than the worst 4Kids dub. Someone needs to pull a One Piece and re-dub this show properly!

You whippersnapper! I'll be 40 in August, so quit complaining and get off my lawn! :p

I loved The Super Mario Bros. Super Show back in the day. When I saw it again several years ago after buying an early DVD release, I was like, "I used to like this? Yikes!" I couldn't believe how awful it was.

Most of the video game one for me do bring back bad memories compared to my past self and me getting into more mature gaming titles, and have a better respect for the gaming franchise. Basically all the Sonic, and Legend of Zelda is also camp for me now.

I used to watch Superfriends religiously. Compared to the superhero toons now, its laughable. No disrespect to fans...but Wendy, Marvin and Wonderdog were ghey.

80's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (despite my love for the Archie comics adaption)

Digimon

Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the live tv show, never saw the toon)

Power Rangers (sadly, I can't sit through an old episode without changing the channel repeatedly)

I'm embarrassed to admit that I used to be a big fan of The Littles back in the 1980s. I tried watching the reruns on the (pre-Disney owned) Family Channel, and it just didn't have the same spark.

Then there was the Pac Man cartoon produced by Hanna Barbera. I can't believe there was ever a time when I thought that was the height of hilarity.

I liked a bunch of crappy, girly cartoons before I hit preschool, and I completely disavow to them to this day. Those damn bright colors... when you're 4, they're amazing. Care Bears comes to mind.

Isn't saying that he was punished with death for doing this cartoon pretty harsh? I understand that you don't like it, which is fine of course, but I don't think anyone deserves to die, especially for just doing a cartoon. I remember watching the cartoon a many years ago, but I haven't watched it recently to see if I still enjoyed it. I thought that it was a cute kind of cartoon, but that's me.

Thank you for your comment. While I do agree with you that Digimon has better writing and character development than Pokemon, I wouldn't really call Pokemon something like dog-fighting. At least the trainers care about their Pokemon, except for Paul, and they don't fight to the death. Besides that, I still love Pokemon and Digimon and both series are still fun to watch for me.

I haven't seen Space Jam in years, but I do remember watching Back In Action a few months ago and I enjoyed it. Even though it was live-action with Looney Tunes, I felt that it kept the cartoonish feeling throughout the movie. Maybe it's because I haven't seen any of the original Looney Tunes cartoons in ages, but I didn't see that much of a difference in Bugs Bunny in either Space Jam, of what I remember of it, or Back In Action. He seemed like the same character of being able to think on his feet in a situation and get out of it like he always did in the cartoons.

I think what attracted me to Timon and Pumba was how it came out not too long after the movie and I was still a huge Lion King fan. Like I said before, when other characters made appearances, like adult Simba and the hyenas, it felt much better. When it was just Timon and Pumba, it just felt so weak. The movies are still wonderful Disney movies to me, but I could live without the show.

Inhumanoids (the low point of marvel/sunbow IMO)
Voltron
He-man (yet she-ra is still watchable strangely)
Wuzzles
Dragon's Lair
Super Mario Bros super show (why is the worst SMB show the only one with good voice acting, or at least an actual italian playing mario?)

Seconded.

Now, Ultimate Muscle... even back then, I wasn't too fond of the "one scatalogical joke per episode" rule; now, it seriously drags down a show that doesn't have that much to begin with.
