Shows you hated but later liked.

I wouldn't say I hated them, but back when I was a kid I disregarded action shows like Batman: The Animated Series and Dragonball Z, simply because I was into comedy at that age. Now BTAS is one of my favorites, and I immensly enjoy DBZ.

I also originally greeted Flapjack and 6teen with disdain, but now they're starting to grow on me.

i used to HATE chowder in 2007 but now i like it in 2009 lol i missed alot....same with flapjack....ima try to like star wars: the clone wars. I want to see action not comedy i liked the older clone wars in 2003 animated series

When The Oblongs first aired on the WB, I thought it was pure dreck and never watched anything beyond the first episode. When it came to [adult swim], I saw more episodes and discovered I didn't hate it as much. The Oblongs still isn't a favorite show of mine, but I can sit through it for 22 minutes and not complain.

I was going to say Ed, Edd n Eddy because that was the first one that came to mind but the first poster said it, so, to be more original i will say... I dunno... umm... I can't think of anything else atm.

X-Men: Evolution. I didn't like the idea of Cyclops not being in charge (him being my favorite X-Man, at least back in the days I read comics), and of course the presence of Wolverine (my least favorite X-Man ...) was points off, but they did well by Cyclops and turned down Wolverine's jerkitude to 'gruff uncle' levels instead of 'total buttweasel' levels.

I don't think I've used the term hate for these shows, but I do recall shows that I didn't like at first and then later grew to like them.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: I thought that it had a decent start and all, but then I started to dislike it more as the first season continued, especially with Jaden taking up all of the spotlight and most of the other characters pushed away into the background. However, I thought that the series was getting better around season two and after rewatching most of season one on DVD last year, I enjoyed some of the episodes more than I remembered. So, I pretty much went from disliking this series to loving it by mid season two.

Chaotic: Again, I didn't hate this show, but I thought that it was kind of dull. MI has definitely made me like the show more, especially with the recent episodes airing on Cartoon Network.

TDI: At first, I thought that I wasn't going to like this show, but it turns out that I eventually did after seeing more of the characters. I wouldn't call it one of my favorite shows, but it is a nice and enjoyable show for me to watch on Thursday nights.
