Corneil and Bernie is known as Watch My Chops in the U.K., or more accurately, Watch My Chops is known as Corneil and Bernie in the U.S. !
 
That phrase is said several times in the theme song and IIRC it's also the show's catchphrase. So to change the title like that actually doesn't make a great deal of sense.
 
The anime, Urusei Yatsura is called "Lum the Invader Girl" in some places around the world, like for UK TV and some parts of Southeast Asia. It is called "Lamu" in France and Italy. The US and UK video releases keep the untranslatable Japanese title.

Darkwing Duck is known as "Myster Mask" in France.
