Shows with different names elsewhere

I'm not asking about TV shows whose titles are naturally translated and adapted into different languages but TV shows that are distributed elsewere with other names and why. Like:
  • U. S. Acres is known as Orson's farm outside america, because foreing people should not get the pun of the title, even if they speak English.
  • Ed, Edd n Eddy title is rendered as Ed, Edd + Eddy in Europe. Perhaps by a similar reason than U. S. Acres.
  • Batman Beyond is called Batman of the Future elsewere. I don't know why.
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender is known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang in other countries. I don't know why.
 
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles because in the UK ninjas were considered bad for kids at the time.
 
Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars is called Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Menace in Canada, because war can't be mentioned in kid shows.
 
Hank Ketcham's Dennis the Menace is called The Pickle in Britain since the Brits already have their own Dennis the Menace comic.
 
Top Cat is called Boss Cat in Britain because there's a very popular brand of cat food in the UK called Top Cat.

FOX's Space Goofs, was called Home to Rent outside of the U.S..

Also, not a cartoon, but a series based on a comic, Smallville is called Superman: the Early Years in Britain.
 
No it wasn't. It's called Space Goofs nearly everywhere (or an accurate translation of it for most non-English countries). The Home to Rent title was only for the UK.
 
Pokemon is a pretty obvious one since its' original name is Pocket Monsters. It's not really a "show", but the first Harry Potter book has a different name in the U.S. It's called "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", while in the U.K. it's Philosopher's Stone. Canada also has the original name.
 
Yeah, but only a small part of "outside the U.S.", not all of the "outside the U.S." which you seemed to imply.

The show is still called "Space Goofs" (in english) in the Latin American version, which is also "outside the U.S."

They call "Space Goofs", "Home to Rent" in South Africa.
Also War Planets is called Shadow Raiders everywhere except the U.S.

So does that mean that "Los Pitufos" is just for Latin-America, then?

Shadow Raiders (Canada) was released in the U.S. as "War Planets", although the original toy line was called "War Planets" to begin with.

A Hanna-Barbera series from 1990 called "Midnight Patrol: Adventures in the Dream Zone" was released as "Potsworth and Co." in the U.K.
