Shows that would be better if they were on a different network

On a similar vein, The Proud Family was originally pitched to Nickelodeon. I have a hard time picturing TPF airing on NIck, though. Also, Bruce W. Smith's other creation, Da Boom Crew, was originally going to air on Toon Disney, but Kids' WB outbid them for the series. Weren't they lucky?

4Kids should have aired One Piece on Toonami from the start, for less editing.

Also, Will & Dewitt should never have aired on Kids' WB! It should have been on PBS Kids or Nick Jr.

One Piece shouldn't have never been given to 4Kids in the first place. Funi should have dubbed it and aired on CN Toonami block. Granted it would have been canned years later like Nartuo for no reason but we would have at least gotten a good couple of years of OP on tv. Just so you know your going to see alot of no 4Kids being involved on this post.

Mega Man Battle Network anime and Veiwtiful Joe never should have been on Kids WB. They probraly would have done better on CN maybe even Toonami. Probraly allowed for less editing on there. That and they didn't seem to work on a Saturday morning format.

GI Joe Sigma Six: Anyone but 4Kids the voice acting was terrible the edited glowing laser saws and the fact that it was on a channel nobody really watched except Ninja Turtles and Sonic X. Probraly Jetix or CN would have done a better reboot for Sigma Six.

Sonic X I dont want to turn this into a bash 4Kids or twist this into I want it changed because the dubb sucks topic but I have to mention this show. The dubb really is awful I would love to see an uncut version of this show.

Pokemon from Catoon Network to 4Kids. I miss the old voice cast and I always thought it worked best on Saturday mornings on a non Cable channel. I dont think CN should stop showing it I just wished 4Kids went back to being the one to primarely handling the show again.

New Spider-Man, Clone High, Heat Guy J, and well pretty much all animated shows MTV had. They really screwed up Spider-Man with the dumb rules of no old people so JJJ and Aunt May couldn't be on or barely at all. Forceing deversity with the character of Indy. They even wanted Peter to say more curse words and kill villains. The one time the suits wanted to darken up a show and it was a show that shouldn't be overly dark. That and MTV aired episodes out of order so that got annoying. Really MTV for the most part is just bad when it comes to handling there animated shows and they would be better off anywhere else.

Digimon really wished CN got the Digimon franchise instead of Disney. Also if CN is only airing anime connected to monster cards they should at least show a good one instead of that Bakugarbage. I also hate the fact the Digimon Data Sqaud towrds the end got such a crap time slot.

Sonic the Hedgehog Satam if it aired on Fox Kids instead of competeing against Power Rangers it probraly would have gotten anther season.

Since everyone is talking about how cartoon network would be such a great place for all these shows I'm here with some shows that would have done better at channels other then Cartoon Network.

Fantastic Four WGH: Say Jetix where is did not need steller ratings to get a full TV run. It was a decent show that at the least desurved a full run and not what Cartoon Network gave it.

Dragon Hunters: Same deal, on Nicktoons network or Jetix this great yet underrated show would have at least gotten a full run in America like it desurved

Storm Hawks: Starting to see a patern here, on Jetix or Nicktoons it would have gotten less exposure yes but it would have at least had a full run, maybe more then one.

Transformers animated: Sure it would not end up anywhere else given that cartoon Network made it but they are treating it like crap. The show desurves better then a 7 AM time slot. How about later in the day of that rerun filled Saturday Morning block or better how about You are here? Oh wait reruns of Ben ten and Star wars are far more important to cartoon network then Transformers animed. Damn it. At least on XD or Nicktoons it would be given a prime time spot like it desurves.

I would rather have shows on a smaller channel that treats it right then a popular channel that treats it like crap.

Shredhead I'm pretty sure the laser saw in Sigma six were not edits but how it actually looked.

Sonic the Hedgehog, aka, Sonic SatAM wasn't canceled because of low ratings or because of competition from Power Rangers. It was canceled because Disney bought ABC and replaced ABC's entire Saturday morning lineup with their own programming block (1 Saturday Morning). A more accurate statement would be: "If Sonic the Hedgehog had aired on a network that didn't get bought out by Disney in 1996, it probably would have gotten another season.".

Where actually do you live? The show airs at 8am where I live. Anyway, I personally think they could treat the show way worse. The show currently gets decent ratings in its current timeslot (though I do agree it would do better if aired after, say, Pokemon). Plus, every single episode is online, so if you miss an airing, you can always catch it on the website. I personally saw the first two seasons that way.

Chicago, AKA Central time zone. Of couse that means it airs earlier in other parts of America. I don't even have it as bad as some, in some places it airs at six in the morning, sucks to be them.

Of course they could treat the show worse like vomiting on it. But they could also treat it much better by say airing it a couple hours later, or so. They treat the show like a red headed step child. Or like 90% of their shows that are over a year old out side a few titles.

Cartoon network is a horrible place for a lot of shows. I love the channel but they have screwed over too many shows for me to have that much faith in them. And I'm actually not one of those pissed off anime fans.
