Shows that need a soundtrack

What shows do you think need a soundtrack right about now?

-Code Lyoko. I know a CD was released, it was good, but all it was was some songs by the Subdigitals and AWWD. I'd like to see a CD come out of the background music. A lot of it is pretty good, especially the XANA-William theme.

-Total Drama Island/Action. Full version of "Eat to Win". NOW.

-Stoked. I would not be surprised if one was released.

Sailor Moon - yes there was a release in North American of the english version of the series, but I don't care about that, I want the Japanese version. That would be awesome to have a compelation of a full versions of all of the songs from the original version.

Bleach - it would be nice to have the full version of some of the openings and closings, but what I really want is the background music. I love their background music, especially the battle background music.

Jem and the Holograms - not much to explain, except they had awesome songs, and it deserves a soundtrack. Though I doubt they recorded so called full version of the songs.

I'm probably all alone on this, but I would buy a CD of Street Fighter's (yes, the American TV series) music by Andrew Dimitroff. It's amazing I still remember lots of tunes from it years later.

I'm also amazed that Family Guy doesn't have an album (aside from that "Live from Vegas" CD, which doesn't count in my mind). Tons of great songs from that show. I guess rights issues to some of the song parodies may be holding it up?

You can import 3 Bleach OSTs from Japan through sites like play-asia and cdjapan, and I think the first one was released here in limited quantity. I think you're screwed with the full versions of the OPs/EDs though unless you import. The 7th Bleach OP did get released here in full though as part of Asian Kung-Fu Generation's newest album.

And I agree with Rho, I want a Stoked soundtrack released ASAP. It's the first FreshTV show to place such a heavy emphasis on music and frankly a compliation should be made eventually.

I'd like to see The Secret Saturdays get a OST release too, it's like the ultimate fusion of Venture Bros. and Batman: The Brave and the Bold's music. Very awesome stuff in general.

Ed edd n eddy- This show has wonderful music, where the hell is the soundtrack?

Spicy City- This has perfect jazz scores for anything that can fit under the category of mystery.

Sonic Satam- I dont know if there was a soundtrack to this one but I would love to see one.

Hey doc, you want it? Look around the Internet, you'll find it.

As for me, the first thing on the top of my head is an official release of the APM music. Yes, I know a few cues are on soundtracks already, and I know most of the cues are on the APM's website, and I know there's illegal ways of getting them, but darn it, can't we have an official legal soundtrack of them somehow that doesn't involve a computer?

Stoked~Has beachy music and All Time Low plus theme

TDI/TDA~Has awesome songs in each episode

Flapjack~Flapple's singing is so adorable :anime:

Chowder~The original score sounds nice

Code Lyoko~Neat theme

Jimmy Two Shoes~Has a really sweet theme like Johnny Test(and of course they get stuck in my head)

That's all I got

I'd love me some old school soundtracks, The Real Ghostbusters, M.A.S.K., and G.I. Joe in particular. There was apparently releases planned for Joe (along with Transformers and other Sunbow shows) according to composer Robert Walsh's website, but I guess the plans fell through. After 3-4 years of no updates, his site eventually removed any mention of them coming out. :(

Seconded! I seem to recall Seth MacFarlane saying that if Live From Vegas sold well they'd considered another CD with music from the show. I'd love to have a good mix of the songs and Ron Jones and Walter Murphy's great scores. A couple months back Jones added a bunch of Family Guy music (score and some songs) to his website.

They weren't exactly 'full' so much as extended, but when the doll line was released, they came with cassette tapes of various Hologram/Misfit songs that were slightly longer than the t.v. versions, although they didn't add new lyrics so much as repeat the ones that were already there, so songs that were like a minute in length were extended by about 30 seconds or so, including the theme song.

Huntik could use a soundtrack, it's got an incredibly catchy rock opening track and the show is laced with lot's of guitar heavy rock riffs and cool background music during fights and whatnot. Yugioh 5D's is another show that had caught me with it's cool music as of late, so these two would get my vote as far as current cartoons go.

Mighty Max had some pretty decent guitar riffs, and some ethnic tracks relating to Indonesia, Egypt, etc., so I wouldn't mind a collection from the series.

Superman the Animated Series is chuck full of orchestral stuff, and I don't think any of it's been released yet.

Phantom 2040 had a pretty decent intro from what I remember, but I don't recall anything from the show.

80s Zelda, despite its issues, had some epic reinterpretations of the game's music, and it was something that really helped the series.

Seeing as how LaLaLand Records has released a great two-disc volume of B:TAS music (with a second one on the way), there's hope that they may eventually dive into the other DCAU shows. I've still yet to see a lot of S:TAS, but I know I'd love some Justice League soundtracks, too. :)

I second that. However, there are some recordings of the music on the3eds.com if your interested.

Also, I would say Animaniacs, Hey Arnold, & Doug.

Man, I forgot about them. That's why a soundtrack for the two is being released later this year or next year. Just google 'Phineas and Ferb soundtrack' and you'll find where it says

I got tired of waiting for some sort of Family Guy album to come out, so eventually I just made my own MP3s of just about every song ever appearing on the show.
