Shows that could air on both CN and AS?

I know there is a Cartoon Network message board and a Adult Swim message board, but these concerns both network, so I post here on neutral message board for now.

You know how some shows have aired on both Nickelodeon and Nick At Nite, Adult Swim is the Nick At Nite of Cartoon Network, I thought what shows that aired on that channel could work as a show on the other block?

The Adventures Of Mr. T could have worked as a Cartoon Network show unlike most Adult Swim shows, it was intended for kids.

Naunto could have been a Adult Swim show. It's anime violence and spirital story telling is very similar to the anime shows that air on Adult Swim.

I think almost any shows from Toonami could work on Adult Swim. I thought the Toonami was a borderline between the two audiences. On the constrait, many of the anime shows on Adult Swim like Bleach could be on Toonami block. Though not on the non Toonami part of Cartoon Network.

I think if Billy and Mandy had debuted 2-3 years later than it did, it might've ended up on Adult Swim and turned a lot more vulgar. I think it's a great lead in to the zany comedy on Adult Swim, and many jokes were intended for older audiences.

I also think Megas XLR would've worked too. This show I think would be great addition if [as] wants a new 1/2 show. It has a cult fanbase that most of has reached [as]'s demo, and it fits most of it's audience since it's got so many 80's references

An accurately dubbed Crayon Shin Chan could have been on Cartoon Network. The first two english dubs defentely was for a Cartoon Network audience. Though the first two english dubs that was indented for children had to be edited for condent. I think a unedited un adultified Crayon Shin Chan falls right in the middle like the Simpsons. It is a little too vulger for kids, but not vulger enough for adults in the states.

So is South Park and other american shows, so our country as weirdly drawn shows as well.

Anyway when the subtitled version fo Shin Chan aired in Hawari in the 90's, it aired at 9 30 pm.

I think that there would be some sort of legal issues in getting it to CN. Course if Family Guy and American Dad can get on I suppose there'd be no problem getting Simpsons on too. I don't watch Simpsons or anything, but I'm pretty sure that it's only ever aired on Fox, though I definitely could be wrong. One things for sure, If The Simpsons came to Cartoon Network, Cartoon Network's ratings would definitely go waaay up.

Sorry, but no. Mr T. didn't get a run on [adult swim] because fans had fond memories of the show. They enjoyed it in a "Gawd! I can't believe this actually got made!" kind of way. many kids of today don't even know who Mr. T is unless their parents or older siblings have spoken of them.

And also, The Simspons will never air on CN. Ever. It just wouldn't be a good fit.

You misunderstand, the points are trying to make is that it could be on Cartoon Network is because it is not vulger, not saying it is a good show that will be a hit, that is not the point. The heard of my intention of this thread is to ask What shows can fit both demographic of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim?, not if the quality of the shows are any good.

Same thing with Crayon Shin Chan, weather you like the show or not, the question is the condent suitable for Cartoon Network? Not do you like the show.

There are tons of show I think are crap, but acknolege in the case of Cartoon Network, not vulger and suitable for children.

About the Adventues Of Mr T., yeah that was a bad show. But this is for the Adult Swim audiance, the All New Adventures Of Mr T was hillarous, all two episodes.

You know, now that I think about it, Mr. T did air on Cartoon Network for a time, back in the 1990s.

But I still don't see The Simpsons airing on CN. I just can't picture it. Granted, the shows' not particularly vulgar and some kids do indeed watch it, but some of the subject matter is clearly not aimed at children. I could see The Simpsons airing on [adult swim], but not on CN. The Simpsons wouldn't be a good fit for Saturday mornings, and it wouldn't fit on CN either.

The New Scooby Doo Movies could air on Adult Swim because of the celebirty guest stars of yester year. Heck any old cartoon could air on Adult Swim because of nolstalgic audiance.
