Show You Liked But Later On Didnt.

Plenty of shows fit into that category for me, mostly because either A. they jumped the shark as mentioned above (i.e Simpsons, Rugrats, Spongebob, FOp etc) or B. because i found them boring after a while.

Also the more data you gain as you grow up your favorite cartoons change obviously as you realise some cartoons are not as worthy as you once thought and vice versa.

The more obvious non shark jumping examples for me would be Tutenstein, which at first i liked but which got boring to me after a while, The Simpsons (earlier seasons) which after watching so many times got boring, Family Guy (though i don't dislike it, just find it duller than i used to, maybe because at the time i wasn't as used to the edgier humor in it)

Hmm they say i should do more paragraph breaks so i will. Hmm... Teamo Supremo... Being Ian... (though i'm more bored of it than disliking it) Angela Anaconda (though i'm more bored of it than disliking it) and some others... my memory fails me again

Rave master: It started out OK, but just got more Conviluted as it went on (Ironically im watching it on Sci-fi right now.)
Not to mention characters were bland & didn't seem to be as well developed in as they were in the manga. (& was elly there for anythin but fanservice...sheesh!)

One Piece: I loved this series when it 1st started, yea the 4kids Dub stunk but it still entertained, as did the manga, but as One piece went one, I noticed somthing, It seems the stories Could'nt Deicd weather they wanted to be Serious or silly & sometimes they just came out as an akward mix of both, & like Rave it seems Kinda Conviluted. & another thing I noticed is that as Time went one Nami's "Apperance" Changed, I mean its like Oda gave in to the perverted Otaku fan's, Wich saddens me...You Can't Increase a Characters Bust size (without a Time skip) Just to Attract people to a series, it just seems wrong. so yea not a fan of ol Luffy an co. anymore.

Last but not least.......

Mike, Lu & Og: Liked this series at 1st, but over time it just got so darn repetative!

For me:
Rugrats: Dil just killed it. I didn't really stick around long enough to see Kimi.

Pokemon: It seemed like after Orange Islands it was the same dang thing over and over again

Wild Thornberries: I have to admit, I liked this show when it first came out, but after a year or so I relized how dumb it was

Magic School Bus: I loved it when I was younger but I rewatched it like a year ago and it was pretty gag-worthy.

My Little Ponies ('90's version): See above

Digimon: I kind of got sick of it after what's his face's little sister showed up

Wouldn't the reverse of that thread be "shows you once liked but looking back, not anymore"?

In that case, The Fairly Odd Parents. I used to enjoy the show but now I can't stand watching it. The humor is just not funny to me, I find most of the characters to be very annoying including the main character and the overall design is bland. In my eyes, it's just an awful show overall.

Do simpsons and Family Guy count, because I loved the first 9 seasons of The Simpsons and the first three of Family Guy and while both shows currently suck I still love the original seasons

Family Guy- When I first started watching it, I thought it was a really funny cartoon. Over the years, seeing the newers eps, I've grown to dislike it's mean-spirited tone and bad "jokes". I still like the stuff from the first 3 seasons though.

Rugrats- After the first movie (which I loved, but feel it should have been the series finale), the show got really boring to me.

I started out kind of liking Family Guy and now I can barely watch an episode, I guess the jokes of the repeats have worn off and the new shows just aren't that original and funny to me. It's sad because at one point I was buying all the seasons and I wouldn't miss an episode if you paid me, but now I all but ignore FG's existance. :(

First thing that came to mind was Family Guy. I've stopped watching the show right after the fourth season when it reappeared on FOX. I just didn't find the jokes and gags funny anymore, not even the earlier seasons when it was good apparently.

South Park is another, it may have it's moments but it soon became a very preachy show. I even liked the extremely crude humor, it was just the "moral of day" crap after every episode started to really get on my nerves. Watching that show now is like watching the creators yak on their soap boxes for 25 minutes.

Code Monkeys (if anyone remembers that show on G4) I liked the premise at first, a cartoon entirely made of 8-bit but jokes got really old really fast.

I share the same feelings but I still enjoy One Piece and its many epic arcs despite it's problems. It sure has a LOT of them.

I didn't like Chaotic - Marillion Invasion when I first saw it, because one of the first episodes I ever saw of the show was the one where the dad was pushing his kid to be a better Chaotic player and I felt the episode was weak and I pre-judged the series based on that one episode. Silly me. Now the show is in my top 5 favorite and I NEVER miss an episode anymore and I have grown to like that specific episode (it's on right now on CN).

So far I got these

FOP- The humor went away after a while, it especially didn't help that it became so formulaic to the point that I can predict what going to happen. It also doesn't help that I've grown to dislike the characters for being annoying.

Naruto- Liked it at first, I thought that the Chunin exams were awesome, but somewhere along the Tsunade arc, I got kind of bored with it. That and the current focus on Sasuke is getting rather dull. C'mon give the real star a chance to shine, and that person is... ROCK LEE!

The Fairly Odd Parents: It was a fun show to watch but after Poof was born the show started to bore me.

Rocket Power: I really liked this show at one point. As the show went on though, the "lingo" they used on the show started to annoy me. The nicknames and "hip" message they were trying to send just bothered me.

The Fairly Odd Parents for... well, the obvious reason; Poof was the official signal of jumping the shark. While we're on the note of Hartman, I'll throw in Danny Phantom. It was alright for the first few episodes, but it got ridiculously cliche and full of itself that it was just plain tiring to watch.

I used to like Family Guy to the point that I never understood why people complained about it and hated it. I was like 14? After a couple years, I started to see the flaws and flinch at each failed attempt at a joke myself. Not to mention the style bothers me immensely; their expressions are nearly stoic and limited. (Although to be honest, I only tried to like FG back then because it was cool.)

The one that comes to mind is Spongebob. The stories became so ridiculous that I gave up on it. And I used to like King of the Hill but it just bores me now.

Teen titans. I liked the show during the first season but by the middle of the second season the novelty of the show wore off and i started to see just how bad it really was.

I think I've kind of turned my back on Justice League. There's some greatness here and there, bu my overall opinion of the show isn't positive.

Family Guy. Liked it up until the 2007-08 season. Too many cutaways and repetitive/gross-out humor. Especially that "bird is the word" thing.

Naruto. Would like to finish the fillers eventually, but I will not watch Shippuden. Reading it is boring.

Johnny Test. Lost interest after season 1.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. The 2nd GIG just doesn't appeal to me.

Rugrats. Went downhill after Dil and Kimi came around (the movies were cool though). Jumped the shark during the "growing up" phase.

Dragon Ball Z and The Cramp Twins. Simply lost interest in them altogether.

Well I think that One Piece keeps on getting better... But Nami's breast size is a bit ridiculous. But I don't pay attention to it and it doesn't bother me.

One Piece fortunately is not one of those anime that puts the fanservice in your face. You have to actually watch for it to notice it. Well I mean, compared to other series... Where they literally put it in your face and you can't just ignore it. >_<

So really I'm not going to let something so little effect my opinion over the series. I'm not watching for the fanservice so I don't ever really even see it.

Anyways as for mine?

Dragon Ball Z: Yes, I put it in the reverse topic, but that's because I've reversed my opinion over it more than once. I used to really like it, but now I don't. I see its flaws, and too much of it was just action to be action. That kind of action I hate.

Family Guy: I used to think it was the funniest thing ever. Now most of its humor falls flat for me.

I still like the Total Drama series, but my enjoyment lessened since Harold went from the Napoleon Dynamite stereotype to the loser geek stereotype.
