I am also wondering how a Suomy helmet fits compared to an Arai, AGV, or Shoei. I have 3 different brands of helmets, and by far, I think my AGV fits me the best. Nice, tight, and snug. Perfect for the track. But it doesn't have the ventilation compared to the Arai. I wear a small in all 3 of my helmets.
 
I have Arai, AGV, Shoei and Suomy helmets and the Suomy is a tighter fit, smaller shell compared to all of them.
It is noisier though, but not a problem when wearing ear plugs
 
I currently wear an Arai, and I used to wear a Suomy (it was crashed ). I've said it before, but I would toss my Arai in the trash for another Suomy... the ONLY thing that is keeping me from getting another one is the inconvenience of changing the shield. :-(

Thanks for the reply on the Suomy lids. You dispelled the noise issue, but there is no way I'm buying a lid that I need a tool to change the visor. Most of my rides go into the night and I take a clear shield with me. I can not be bother to take a tool to change it.

Not sure what the heck they were thinking, no body wants to carry that "tool" around regardless of how small it is, I'm afraid of just losing it so it sits in my garage. Total gayness.

Bet that if Suomy had a nice Duc helmet you'd get it in heartbeat regardless though.

Looking through your pics, how was the ride of the Streetfighter by the way? I'm envious, I want one. Seems like you've got a hell of shop there.

Bet someone's got that pic as their background some where or something haha.

In regards to noises, I think that all helmets that uses a pods system that goes over the face shield like arai and suomy are generally more noisy than podless system like shoei because all that air goes into the pod which is right by your ear hence the noise.
 
hahahah ASM do you really? haha. Oh well, don't feel embarassed, it is a good pic, poster/magazine ad quality in my opinion. I was thinking about it but decided not to. Haha, I think this post is being hijacked and turned into the "who's got Kami's pic on their wallpaper" post.
 
Yeah, you're probably right, if Suomy came out with a kick ass Ducati helmet, I would definitely cave and buy it... ;-)

The Streetfighter kicked ass!!!It rocked my socks off! I was actually thinking about trading my 848 in for it when I was riding it... but Bikey and I would be way too sad to split :-( So I guess I'm just going to have to add to my collection in the future! :-)

I'll be the first to admit that I have that pic as MY OWN background on my computer!! hahaha!! I LOVE that pic!! :-)
