I too am thinking of getting a Suomy. I tried it on at the shop and fit real nice, but I have heard that they are pretty loud. Any truth to that rumor?

Suomy is definitely my second fav helmets next to the Arai Corsair. Same fitting, just maybe a tad bit more snug, just a tad bit. As for loudness, I say it's the same as the Arai. Nothing a pair of ear plugs wouldn't solve. Only thing I don't like about the Suomy is that it requires a "tool" to take off the face shield, that's becomes a pain I think. Love their anti fog face shield though.

I like them both equally but the Shoei X-11 is quieter at high speed...

I see, tried both fer fit and the Arai felt and fit best so I went with it, both are superb Helmets also wanna try out a Suomy.
