Show some Love!

That is a sweet setup, nothing really surprises me much anymore, when you have cars like the Corvette with 17+ separate computers and multiplexed wiring to maintain functions even if a wire is cut by rerouting the signal. Or getting a monthly system diagnostic sent to your email by OnStar. It is all so far ahead of the limited Commodore Vic-20 that was my 1st computer.

funny, vic20 was my first pc also. used to stay up til like 3am when i was 10 years old writing stupid basic programs. power that sucker off, and all 10 hours of hunt/peck typing down the drain. i learned a lot though, and played a ton of gorf.

Hehe, ya I know what you mean. I had a tape drive for it that would save memory to a standard audio cassete. It was FIFO and could not search ahead so I would have to index with the mechanical counter. It was fun at the time. And that Basic language we used was copyrighted by none other than Microsoft. Didn't know it back then but years later noticed it when I was looking at the old owners manual.

Hey jammis, hope you had a great b-day and stayed cool .

Up here in Phx it's been like 23 days of the temp being 110 degrees or higher.
