Shouldn't we all be reading and listening to ALL news sources?

if we want the truth? Obviously there is no such thing as unbiased news reporting today and it seems irresponsible to just accept what one source claims is true.

No the viewer needs to construct non biased opinions about politics.
How will you do this if a news network like FOX News blatently ignores half of the story. As if thats bad enough they spout hate and ignorance in anything that opposes them.
Your conclusion will be incomplete!

No you should only listen to what Obama wants you to hear, Any criticism of Barry must be shrill right wing propaganda. The truth in Politics is whatever the democrat/liberals want it to be and the willing media accomplices see that it's brought about. Anything or anybody with a conservative slant is suspect and immediately trashed ala Sarah Palin.
Liberals can steal money lie cheat have sexual affairs etc. stc. and it's all OK because they make the rules and the media carry their wishes.

All the news is biased regardless what channel you are tuning. Get off the TV and you might think!

I read more than 22 newspapers everyday and came up with the above conclusion. Local and international!

There has never been Unbiased news reporting.. however, the notion that the media in the US is left leaning is a Joke.
World Traveler here and I can tell you that our media abroad is considered one step above the state news that countries like North Korea have..
I'm not kidding.. Europeans laugh at the grotesquely corporate slant that all mainstream US news abides by..
However they love Democracynow, Truthout, Politico, etc..

and yes we should all get as much diversity in our news diet as possible

That would require an intelligent thought and effort. America has been dumbed down to the point that they want their information fed to them. As a country we struggle to think for ourselves, if we did, Obama would not have won the election and McCain would not have been the other choice. If we as a country don't wake up and start to recognize the garbage being fed to us, we will become sheep led to slaughter.

All of them? Who has the time and resources for that?

The easiet way to do it is to find the most biased of each and compare them to make your own conclusion.

I prefer the 'in-your-face' bias as opposed to the CNN brand where they try to sneak it in the back door.

Read

The Slate = Blatantly Liberal

Weekly Standard = Blatantly Conservative

Neither is reliable alone but, at least they're not trying to sand bag you into thinking the reporting is not tainted by framed arguments and editorial.
