...bin Ladens photo? That's so PEA brain, like a SNAKE to publish the photograph of ANYBODY who's dies!
Those photos were supposed to be Top Secret, weren't they? And if Top Secret, the Constitution wouldn't play into it!
 
Common Decency and Respect has nothing to do with the issue here.

The issue is the First Amendment which is designed to Insure you will always have the right to criticize the government for it's actions and try to convince others to see your point of view, without fear of the government attacking you.

Maybe showing dead bodies is going overboard, but going overboard is necessary so you can always be free to tell when you think the government is doing something wrong.
 
this is getting dumber by the minute.

first he was armed, then not armed, then he had a human shield, then it was one of his wives.. what next.. now reuters has a photo but its only photos of the others killed.. what a messed up operation, and they crashed a chopper there apparently, no word on that one as yet. The darndest thing is it happened 2km from Pakistans biggest military base in a wealthy suburb flooded with military personell, didn't they see the choppers coming ?? didnt anyone hear the guns blazing for 40 minutes ?? This withstanding, the nome' de plume for me is the dumping of bin ladens body into the ocean...... ummm.... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?????????????????? why would you do that ? why would you destroy all evidence only an hour after capture, after wanting this man dead or alive for over a decade, you finally capture him and you just dump him in the ocean.

it makes little sense. sorry.
 
I don't believe Reuters has access to the photos of bin Laden. They have photos of the others killed at the compound, but U.S. authorities have the photos of bin Laden.
