...them so heavily in a year? Wouldn't that protect consumers from making a foolish move by buying one?
 
not really since they are at or below emission standards set by the epa. but he should block Detroit's new idea to bring back 70's muscle cars.
 
The carbon tax proposal wouldn't come into effect until 2011 and it would be graduated. I suppose you are against catalytic converters and MPG guidelines for car manufactures?

The point is, even at $2 a gallon of gas, we WILL RUN OUT OF OIL and our carbon emissions are heating up the earth.. So Maybe its me but I can drive a smaller car and not starve due to food shortages because of massive droughts. While your huge SUV sits in the garage because there is no gas to drive it.

How short sighted are we?
