revolves around astronomy? and the sun. The 3 wise men following a star to jesus are in fact 3 stars which at the time of the year are lined up with the sun, jesus I guess. Jesus lying dead for 3 days and rising at the fourth describes the time of the year when the sun reached its lowest point, stays there for 3 days (or at least almost unchanged) and starts rising, unless you live at the equator I guess. Even the symbol of christianity, the fish, has to do with astronomy.
Since the sun is there for everyone shouldnt rabbis give jews who want to break out a pine tree bake cookies and watch KISS safes christmas a break ?

ACl actually Christmas predates the german pagan cult by several thousand years, it even predates judaism. Without tv people had a lot of time to observer the sky back in the day.
Also the first christians were jews who though yehowa was the messiah. They are still around today.
