Shouldn't gun/weapon manufacturers be held accountable for their distributions?

If you make a gun that you were suppose to sell to Mr x and it got to Mr Y the criminal who used it to kill, are you not liable?
This way, weapon/gun manufacturers should be liable for their use by undocumented owners.
With this, the manufacturers or dealer will make sure the guns do not get sneaked out over night via the back door dealings.
Is it not time to start suing the gun/weapon manufactures for their own part of responsibilities?
Weapon makers and dealers should be responsible for the distribution of their weapons - right?
 
you do not have a clue. the answer is no. your's is a superficial understanding of the big picture. a child-like and simplistic conclusion. so much more to this than you know. just do your social studies homework and grow up. read a book or even do your math homework. you know nearly nothing about the weapons issue except bs.
 
Should Ford and GM be held responsible for auto accidents?

Should Trojan be held responsible for unwanted pregnancies?

Don't be stupid, a gun is just a tool. Should Sears/Craftsman be held responsible when someone gets stabbed with a screwdriver?
 
If someone stole your car and killed a little old lady with it, should we lock you up? Maybe we should sue Ford for every drunk driving death.

Using your logic then if GM sells me a car, and a criminal robs a bank and uses that car to get away and kills people during the resulting chase, we can sue GM. Liberals, no logic just platitudes and nonsense.
 
That's more bull than a little bit, who are you going to hold liable for the murderer who strangles and rapes a woman, his parents?

As long as the manufacturer/ seller follows the current law you have no beef with them

Only if it is defective.
The criminal should be held responsible for their crime, and the lawyers should be hung for making it difficult to get rid of the criminals.

I guess you would like to see the car makers held responsible for the deaths of the drunk driver too!
