Shouldn't gamefly games shipped on the same day, arrive the same day?

It would help if my hand didn't shake as if it were Michael J Fox

I think it's going back tomorrow just because there is so much other shit I want to try

gamefly is weird. most times i'll send a game back from work on monday and my next game will arrive at my house on weds (thursday at the latest), but then once in a while they won't register receiving one i sent back for a while, and i'll have to report it on their site. they always fix that stuff pretty fast though, and i've actually gotten a free game or two out of it

Same thing happened here..
I had both Excite Truck and Red Steel shipped on Saturday, got Excite Truck on Monday and still waiting on Red Steel, hopefully I get that today or tomorrow

I signed up with Gamefly about three months ago and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. I'm on the east coast and get my games in about three days and that has, most recently, included new PS3 games. This is the U.S. postal service we're dealing with after all. I don't think it's Gamefly who's at fault for a slow down this time of year. I'm sure the holiday rush has something to do with it.

damn i just walked down to the mail box and the post man was just pulling up.. now i gotta wait like 15-20mins for him to sorta everyones mail... and i have to got to work in 40mins.. at most ill get like 10mins with need for speed..

stupid work..

It's now been 5 days since I placed my first order.

Trauma center was here tuesday, back in the mail yesterday... still hasn't registered as being sent back.

Still haven't gotten red steel

It's a good deal but this is silly

I got a 1 month trial of the Blockbuster game pass yesterday $14.99, 1 game out at a time but unlimited, hope to rent every title comes out for rental at our store for the next month.

I'm actually surprised our store has as many as it does. I'm hoping that by me renting every copy they'll see that all of them went out and keep giving us more.

Think I'm going to grab Tony Hawk tomorrow after classes.

That is weird. I have yet to have any Gamefly issues. I've hung on to my last couple of games for a few weeks so I haven't sent anything in the holiday rush but I'm guessing that may have something to do with it. Are you remote or are you fairly urban? That could have something to do with it too.

Did you just sign up on that new 40% off intro pricing deal they've got going or have you been with them for a while? That is a smokin deal. If you just signed up I'd suggest getting through December and I bet everything will be fine and seriously on that deal, you can't go wrong.

If you're close to a post office dropping your games off there will expedite the rapid return process.

I think the return problem was that somehow the route my mail takes on the way back to gamefly doesn't go through any post office that uses the scanners they need to show it's on the way back

Now that my blockbuster has a good selection of games, I don't see any reason to use gamefly

Sounds like your post office sucks and my Blockbuster bites. Mine has nothing even close to resembling a decent selection and what they do have is a 50/50 shot at an actual working game.
