Sometimes you can alleviate your various back pains with those special pillows. I found one especially for the lower back at one of those bed and bath type stores. It's a firm piece of memory foam in an hour glass shape that fits more comfortably between your knees than a bulky regular pillow. It took some getting used to, but once I did, it has really helped my lurabar pain a lot! I carefully turn side to side and onto my back throughout the night, and with that little "leg spacer" pillow, it's not hard to turn, like it was with a regular pillow.
A frozen shoulder sometimes happens after a shoulder injury. It's basically a shoulder that has tightened up so that you can't move it properly anymore. For me, I couldn't raise it to the front, side, or back. Fastening my bra in teh morning was the hardest part of my day. It's very painful and usually takes a year for recovery with PT and/or surgery. You don't want one!
Keep trying the cervical pillow and see if that keeps helping.
