Historically, there has been a racial divide between whites and people of color. Correctional statistics show 75% of prison inmates are people of color yet they constitute only 15% of the population. The recent Havard square saga which sucked in the President only stood to prove how race is the most dividing issue in our lives. Black families continue to grow apart as a result of some crimes which may have been forgiven if culprits were white. Vick, a black did time for dog fighting yet a Presidential aspirant who is white boasts of killing aninals in Alaska. Michael Phelps recently was caught smoking weed and then got involved in a murky accident but is scot free. In light of these clear selective application of laws, should white judges be allowed to continue presiding over cases involving people of color?
