Should U.S. colleges require some religious studies credits for all Arts &

Sciences undergrads? I heard that Harvard had some sort of faculty controversy over such a topic even though such courses are common at other Ivy League schools.
 
I took a number of religious history courses, not all from a theological standpoint, but many which included those views in their historical contexts. I would definitely recommend such a proposal for all Arts degrees.
