Should true wisdom ever need to be disguised in riddles and/or parables?

Or should it be spoken plainly?
See, this is what happens when you ask a serious question here...no one answers. OK then, part 2 of the question: When Jesus finally returns, will it be on the back of a flying pig or a unicorn?
 
Depends on the individual asking. Sometimes, people just need to learn things for themselves and putting it in riddles helps them to learn and remember
 
it needs to be in parables so society doesnt get bored with it plus if its in riddles, people tend to think theyre not smart enough to understand and some higher intelligent being must have came up with it
 
When true wisdom is spoken, it ascends from many dimensions and planes that is to be heard and understood in many levels. It is not just intended for one consciousness, as can be seen here on R&S, if you say it is red, others will argue that it is not, which it is true to all.

Jesus explained why He spoke in parables. If you bothered to read part of the Scripture, why didn't you bother to read the rest?

Plainly spoken, it does not require one to give any intellectual effort and can more easily be dismissed as simply preaching. In a parable, one may have an 'Aha!' moment, making a greater impact. God bless you.
 
Parables are only useful for illustrating how concepts are true in nature and applicable to life. Unfortunately, people of lesser understanding tend to worship the characters in famous parables and take the events in them as historical fact, often under the leadership of a controlling zealot.
 
Wisdom should be spoke in parables for the unwise should not be blessed with wisdom unless they are wise in there hearts then wisdom is in all of us.
