I would like to see these two candidates debate on foreign policy, the Federal Reserve, the borders, Iran, taxation/economic issues, financial bubbles, weak dollar, and etc. Do you think there should be another GOP debate? Thanks.

Martin: I don't care if he has a chance or not, I'm just tired of hearing the democrats debating each other, respectively.

That is not in the GOP's best interest for sure. Besides the major managed news media has all but completely strangled congressman Paul's viewer availability. Even if this was managed to be pulled off the debates questions would be worded to make Paul's stance on issues to look as ludicrous as possible. I mean to get a debate like that going again, Ron Paul would probably have to concede to wearing a Bozo the clown costume & inhale helium before answerng the questions.
Bob Barr is weighing in on another ticket but don't expect a miracle here!

Yeah.
Because Ron Paul kicks serious ass.
He went to the highschool I'm attending.<3

Ron Paul doesn't have a chance in hell of ever becoming president, wake up and smell the coffee.

He doesn't have a chance to win... so no point really. Of course, I wouldn't listen to it, anyway

DEMOCRATIC '08!

go Obama! Go Hillary! GO GO GO GO GO!

moonwalk....cabbage patch.... ROBOT!!!! :-o... :-D

Dr. Paul would wipe the floor with that old fool, McCain.

Say what you want about Ron Paul, at least he doesn't think that the Constitution is "just" a piece of paper.

Good gawd, why? Neither one of them are articulate and both are one notch from being functional idiots.

Why would he want to debate Ron Paul? Far to late for that. They went down the road of debates in months past. Ron Paul was left in the dust by all the other candidates as well. Apparently he is a loon or he is wanting to pull in more contributions off the internet.

Yes & while they are at it give Bob Barr a chance too, he also has some really good ideas.

I think that Ron Paul should influence the Republican Party as much as he can and bring the Republicans back to some Conservative Ideals. However, there's no reason for the GOP to arrange a debate b/w Dr. Paul and McCain. McCain has already won the nomination. What purpose would another debate serve the Republican Party other than to divide it?

Unfortunately, I think Ron Paul will pull the Republicans in this election and get quite a few of the conservative and independent votes which is not good for the Republican Party.

In this election, Ron Paul's downfall was his stance on how to handle Iraq. Had he have had a slightly different and more realistic view point on how to handle it from here, he probably would have done much better. He'd have been the perfect candidate for my political taste actually.

In my opinion, Dr. Paul smoked the whole pack in every debate so far, anyway. After-the-fact media spin (read: damage-control) was white-hot and constant.

True, McCain knows better than to face the man again and he wouldn't. Nonetheless, the grass-roots support for RP is more than sufficient to blow the little lambs' minds should the good doctor choose to go independent and start unleashing some of those millions in modest donations from REAL people.

If he does, there'll most likely be a huge number of former Paul-supporters (who only gave up when the 'polls' showed him with some ridiculously low percentage of support) returning out of disgust with the current choices.

...

Very definately yes, but who would promote it, and would it be aired on national T. V.?

The mainstream would never invite Ron Paul to the debate because he would crush McCain, in most catagories.

If the Ron Paul supporters staged a debate, chances are McCain would be a no show.

Of course I see McCain as kind of a dummy, so maybe we could get a pro Ron Paul talk show host to invite McCain to his show,,,and then surprise him when Ron Paul shows up,,,and turn it into a debate.......Now which talk show host could we contact???? { Jay Leno??? }

Thanks for the question.
