Should there be a separate forum for Symbian^3?

It might have been discussed in the 121+ pages of the N8 thread, and apologies if that's the case, but I'm just wondering if there are any plans either to rename this thread to "Symbian", or fork a Symbian^3 forum away from S60.

The reason is that the N8 folks are altogether way too happy with their devices and I really just want to hang around other S60v3 people who like to complain (although I have to admit the S60v5 people are pretty good at it too, maybe even better).

All kidding aside I do think the OSes are different enough to warrant a split.

As for OP, a split would be counterproductive. Half the time questions/posts gets double posted in the regular Nokia forum anyway. If you split it, then you just created yet another folder to post the same question...

How about we change it from S60 to Symbian then?

As N8 is not S60 is is S^3

Forum rename might be OK.

No need for another forum. There is already a "Nokia" forum where a lot of the Symbian and S60 posts end up.

I have to admit I'm surprised so few people want to split the S60 and Symbian^3 forums, but given that most want to keep them together, then I do believe we should rename S60 to Symbian.

..and from the sounds of it, prevent posting in the generic Nokia forum. How many people post about S40 or S30 phones, anyway?
