I think they should. The robbers love looking for easy targets. If there is no surveillance camera they know they could easily get away with it. The cameras would not only prove who the robber did it, where he went, what he looks like but if the robbery ever actually happened in the first place. This could save lives!
What do you think of this? Is it good? They also require them to have carbon monoxide alarms. So why not surveilance cameras?
