Are there any other times in history where children were singing songs of praise to their leader? Does this seem creepy to you?

I'm glad my grandkids aren't being indoctrinated by the left as their parents won't let them participate in such activities and they have told the schools they aren't into that they won't allow that shyt to happen! I raised my kids right and to believe in themselves and to do for themselves and not depend on government for a damn thing!

Yes, the Hitlerjugend were brainwashed to view Hitler much as liberal kids in our schools are trained to view Obama.
