Should the financial accounts of all politicians be public knowledge?

Absolutely, but Congress will never make this an issue. It has been tried and died. Why pull the trigger on the gun pointed at you?

I realize that their salaries already are but I think it would be interesting to see who is getting other funds. And I realize there are ways around such matters, but should the lives of politicians be a little moe open to the citizens who vote these people into office?
