We need help deciding what to get our parents as thank you gifts for helping with our wedding. My parents (groom) contributed about $4000 to the wedding. My future wife's parents contributed about $20,000 and paid for our honeymoon. Her parents also have supported us in everything...we couldnt have done it without them! Should we get her parents a more expensive gift since they contributed so much more? For example, should we get my parents a gift card to a local restaurant and show tickets, and get her parents a gift card to a hotel for 2 nights, two restaurant gift cards, and show tickets to a place out of town? And if we do decide to give her parents a nicer gift to thank them for their generosity, should we give the gifts privately so that they dont all see at the rehearsal dinner that one got a nicer gift? Help!
