Should the 90's Godzilla the Series come back to tv?

After years of dismissing the series and refusing to watch a complete episode of the show when it used to air on FOX KIDS, I finally decided to give this series a shot. After watching the first 2 episodes of this series, I have to admit that it is pretty darn good. A friend of mine kept telling me this series was pretty good and I refused to listen. Man, was I ever wrong. I regret missing out on this series.

My question to you guys is, would you like to see the 90's GODZILLA THE SERIES return to tv? I certainly would, and I think that it should air on Toon Disney's JETIX block.

Though I agree with you that the series was very well done, despite being based on an awful film, I think that it has passed its prime. I would much rather see a new series based on the original Godzilla.

Hell yeah I'd love to see it back on TV, especially considering that it was shifted so much around when Digimon (and the rest of the anime shows brought to combat Pokemon) came in and because Sony (or Toho) aren't going to be releasing season or even real volumes anytime soon.

I'm gonna say no, because it was based on an awful, horrible version of the character and would just pollute the brand and spread misconceptions about it. It would hinder new material based on the original, real Godzilla.

I'm going to say no. The new movie sucked and the cartoon based on it wasn't much better. I can think of at least 3 other shows that I would want on the Jetix lineup before Godzilla.

I'd like to see it show up somewhere like Boomerang or Toon Disney. It's not often you see a cartoon that was actually better than the movie that spawned it, and it was certainly better than the previous Hanna-Barbera Godzilla cartoon of the 1970's. It wasn't perfect, but it was pretty good.

The Mummy is NOT a Sony property. It's NBC-Universal.

As for Godzilla, I voted no. Why they redesigned 'Zilla in the first place, I don't know. I'd like to find the jabroni who did the designs and give him a room at the Smackdown Hotel.:D :p ;)

I've seen several of the new and old movies, and watched at least two different cartoons based on Godzilla, but to this day, I've never truly seen the draw of him, never especially liked him. Or her... or whatever. *shrug*
