i am obsessed with cars, and i do like working on them, but i am not mechanically inclined, and dont know too much about them (mechanically). but ever since HS that is all i ever wanted to do, was be an auto mechanic. now i'm not sure if i should go to school for that, cause i dont have a very good memory and not sure if i'll remember everything there is to no. and now i'm not sure what to do as a career.

Perhaps specialized in the electronic or electrical systems, but if they're not mechanically inclined, it wouldn't be an easy task to start disassembling engines and transmissions.

only if you are working on your own car.i wouldn't recommend doing it if you don't know what you are doing, because you could make things worst.i suggest let a real mechanic work on it,that's their profession and they go to school to learn how to work on vehicle's and also take up to date refresher courses to keep up with the newer models that come out.
