Should samsung hdtv be slightly lagging when using xbox?

So I just got a Samsung 1080p 240hz hdtv from best buy. I hooked it up to my xbox with the component + audio cables, and switched the thing on the xbox cord from tv to hdtv (my old tv wouldn't work with the component/hdtv feature on the xbox). Now when I play (online or not online) there is a slight lag when I try to move or look around. From what I can tell there is no game mode for the tv, just dynamic, natural, standard, and movie. I'm not sure if there's a setting which can reduce the lag or if its just something im gonna have to get used to. Thanks alot
