That's pretty much what Republicans have been doing for the last two years. They just sit there, doing nothing but casting "No" votes. You illustrated the main reason why Americans hate incumbents right now: they want to play politics instead of finding real solutions to our problems. Americans are fools if they think they can fix this by voting in more Republicans, though.

Strategically speaking, the way I see it, if I was Republicans, I would do nothing about immigration and let the Democrats pass whatever amnesty they want to pass all by themselves..then Republicans can swoop in and cash in at the ballot box on the anger of american citizens who will be fuming.
