Should Raquel Welch be given a new film?

She hasnt had a big starring role in years and yet I sense she could be pretty popular.

Could she still carry a movie at 70 and why is she so rarely used?:)
 
What makes you think she's looking for work?

Do you think actors who havent been on screen for a while spend all their time by the phone praying they'll get the call that will re-launch them back into the spotlight?

Most actors eventually take a back seat from the spotlight. They lead busy social lives or have other business interests they like to get involved with. Some prefer to work in theatre. Every now and then, if they feel like it, will take on a film role.
 
What makes you think she'd want a big starring role though?

And how many actors could carry a movie at 70? Several I can think of, not many though. All of them much better actors than RW.

Come to think of it, how many of them could even be bothered to carry a movie at 70?
