Unfortunately politics, either at a local, state, or federal level, play a role in almost everything.

Most jobs are not advertised because they are given to people who know people inside the company. This applies to sports also.

It's not what you know, it's who you know.

They co-exist irrespective of how much we hate it. Without politics there is no sport. There is no sport in the world without it - but without sports - Politics can exist. The frustration part of any politics is the bureaucracy involved which dictates terms, rules, laws and what not.

The governing body to the selection process including the players themselves are involved in some sort of politics.

People who say politics shouldn't mix with sport are fools. Politics is an intrinsic part of everyday life.

Getting your bins emptied has something to do with politics.

Which school a child goes to has something to do with politics.

Getting planning permission to build a new cricket ground has something to do with politics.

Why does politics have such a great deal of persuasion? Because it is a mass leisure activity, that unites people from all walks of life.

Politics manages to get it's grubby little hands in anything where money is involved.

no politics and sports should not be mixed
all the politicians need money so in order the go for sports without any previews
