should Paul O Grady swear more at 9pm

I'm afraid that is what passes for 'funny' or 'humour' these days, if there is not a swear word in it, or someone chucking up, peeing themselves etc, then it seems it's not funny!

Maybe they should try watching a few Ealing Comedies, or even the old Pinewood B&W stuff (Rank Films) to see well timed and funny 'humour' :)

Paul O'Grady must be one of the unfunniest people on TV,he thinks swearing is funny while in fact it demonstrates his grasp of the English language is so poor he cannot express himself in other ways.
 
I haven't seen the new Paul O Grady show, but this post certainly cheered me up. You've said everything I wanted to say to this absolutely ridiculous OP.

The idea that you can only be amused by something if there is a swear word in it is a sad indictment on the intellect of some humans. However, it has answered my long unanswered queries on who is keeping people like Jim DaviRABon and Roy Chubby Brown in their careers. Depressing.

I can imagine!

I love the odd swear to spice up a bit of dialogue, and for me, Paul O'Grady judges it perfectly. He's not gratuitous, but uses it occasionally to underline a point. I think his new show is brilliant.

I also like Gordon Ramsay's swearing- he does it so much it's almost cartoonish- also he knows how to reign it in when it's less appropriate, such as on 'Best Restaurants'.
