Should Natasha Kaplinsky be replaced on Five news at 5pm??

Yes of course and I agree with Camino that Ms Traquair should be the presenter.

Next problem is they now have half the reporters etc they had last year so are a bit news lite, Perhaps they could ask the team from LFSF to be reporters for Five News

:D.

Natasha Kaplinsky should be sent straight to my bedroom.
I love her.

If you don't want her on your screen, send her to me and I promise not to let her out!

Five news management don't have much success really. They sign Kaplunsky when she's already pregnant but she omits to tell them. Then they have to pay out to Selina Scott after allegations of ageism. Now Kerplunsky is going off again - doesn't seem to be much point in her signing with Five.Isn't Five news provided by Sky - they're usually more canny than that.

Five threw a hell of a lot of money into relaunching the show with Kerplunk - and she has spent most of her contract thus far either pregnant or on maternity leave.

She'll be off again soon for another lengthly break.

Not to mention the disastrous trio thats on at 6.30. I tried to watch again last night but that Ian Wright makes me want to smash my tv screen.

Knocked up again?!?! Ah well, I pretty much hate Five anyway for abandoning House and 30 Rock and the shoddy treatment of Californication so more power to Kerplunk. I hope she keeps popping out sprogs and getting these chumps (the Mandleson interpretation thereof) to keep paying for them.

why should she be replaced?? because shes pregnant????

I'm sure her legal team would have a field day if that happened during the next 21-22months

As much as I dislike the kerplunk and would jump at any chance to have a go on this occasion I fell the need to defend her :o

I am pretty certain that she didn't / doesn't get paid anything whilst on maternity leave because she is not a direct employee of channel 5.

my understanding is shes on a fix yearly pay, so matter how much time she has off she gets paid anyway, just like 99% of goverment workers
