Should my heart pulse be at 111 when I'm walking about shopping?

After I came back from work today, I decided to check my blood pressure - because I've been experiencing periods of light headiness the entire day. When I used the machine at Shoppers Drug Mart, everything came out on the normal/optimal range, except for the pulse. I wanted to speak to the pharmacist, but he seemed rather busy. Can someone shed some light on this? I'm naturally anxious when having to step outside of my house, which I think might be contributing to this, and I am taking Spironolactone - but, because it should be lowering the pulse I can't see it contributing to my pulse being high.
