Should my friend or I pay for the car?

My friend took my kids and I to a dentist appointment. When we were placing the car seats in the car and she tried to shut the door I told her it wasn't going to work but she just slammed the door shut. On the way we needed to pull over. This time I went to shut the door and it wouldn't shut so she told me to slam it. When we finally got to the dentist office the door wouldn't open and we realized it was broke. Who should pay for the door to be fixed?

You shouldn't have to pay for the car door. She's the one who wanted to slam the door shut and told you to. It's not your fault. You should maybe drive her top a place or buy her a coffee or bringher to lunch or something.

Seeing as there's no real way of telling who broke the door, I'd say you both go halves in fixing it.
