Should my boyfriend bring stamps to boot camp?

My boyfriend is going to army boot camp Jan. 7th and I was wounding if I should send him off with some stamped envelopes to save him some time and money. I guess my real questions is do you have to pay postage while at boot camp?
 
Yes you do. I do not where he could keep those envelopes with stamps you want him to have. Usually we are stripped to the skin when we go in and use only what is issued. -
 
absolutely, i had a lot of pre stamped, pre addressed envelopes, to save time. my parents also gave me a new address book with all my friends and families addresses in it.
