Should my boyfriend and I have sex?

He's 16 and had sex before, im 17 and haven't. we started going out like a month and a half ago...hes ready and i think i am too. any advice out there? oh and we do know all about protection, and im on the pill and hell have a condom too, so dont lecture me about stuff like that.
if you dont think were ready, then how long should we wait?
 
a month and a half is not a long time. maybe it seems like it but its not at all. you dont even really know a person at all until at least a year unless you've been friends with them for several years before you started dating. be REALLY careful think very carefully before going through with this. you will regret it so much if you do it now and it turns out hes a different person from what you thought...i really recommend waiting longer because the first month or months are the best joyous time in most all relationships and things change very much as a little more time goes by...maybe not always but you should really spend more time with him normally before giving it up to him because also when you give it up to him he will always want more and bother you to do it if you dont want to willingly...a lot of times when you have sex early in relationships the relationship can fall from love to lust or there will be more lust than love...and thats a bad thing unless you dont care if your being used and shit like that. id give it more time because it hurts, it really hurts when you find out the guy didnt love you as much as you thought at some part of your relationship. think about it and be careful...make sure hes the one you want to be the first to have you...good luck.
 
probably not..its too soon..losing your virginity is a special thing that should be shared with someone who reallly loves you and as a guy...trust me he doesnt...he is looking to have sex with a virgin to say he did...you want someone who REALLY cares losing your virginity hurts and again should be special
