Should MJ's trial have been tried by judges alone rather than a jury?

The jury could have easily been MJ fans which would make him not guilty, in the same way that they could have been some haters who would find him guilty. I think the the impartiality of judges would have been better, no?
 
there was no evidence... the kid's parents just wanted money... why did they accept money in the first place if my child was molested no amount of m0oney would make me let a sick man walk away free!!
so i guess mj was innocent and it would have been the same...
