should mini lop rabbits live outdoors?

Today I am going to purchase a hutch for my rabbit and I am not sure if I should buy an outdoor one or an indoor one as I know mini lop rabbits usually live indoors I live in the south of england where there are lots of foxes and cats however if I am to buy an out door hut I will be buying a plastic rain coat to put over it. So really I just need your opinion
