Should McCain's failures be used to help win this election?

He bragged on 60 minutes the other night about being 5th from the bottom of his class, crashing aircraft and being an all around jerk as a kid. Is that leadership we want? NO! Could Obama ever get away with something like this?
 
ok so because he has learned from his mistakes, been honest about his past, and was not ashamed to tell the truth about himself you think he would not make a good leader? instead you would rather elect someone who believes in communism and refuses to admit he was ever wrong about anything except his own personal drug abuse.

Actually it is the Leadership that I want. You can't truly lead until you have failed. To my knowledge Obama has never really failed. He will get a crash course in Nov.
 
Haven't you ever done anything crazy when you were a kid! For Gods sake get a life and ask something intelligent! I mean Obama use to do cocaine, we're not complaining about that, they we're young at the time. Get off of it
 
I'm not sure what you mean. He was speaking honestly. I guess I would prefer McCain over Obama who has accomplished nothing but two autobiographies in the past 12 years.
 
He also said on 60 Minutes that he didn't regret supporting deregulation. Now that, we should hold against him.

Funny choice of words..."bragged about it"....I don't recall ever hearing McCain brag about his POW days. He's barely talked about it at all. Obama is getting a pass on more serious issues like his links to former terrorist Weathermen, his association and friendship with Rev. Wright, HIS inexperience...(never have understood why the Obama campaign would want to frame Gov. Palin with an experience deficity when the top of the Dem ticket is so open to scrutiny in that department.)..Just where were you ranked in your class? I'm betting a few levels below valedictorian status.....
 
he didn't brag... but obama doesn't brag about his past either...

maybe because of his connections to ACORN, Ayers, Wright, Rezko...

Obama can't even bring up one person from his college years to speak on behalf of him... why?

I wish Obama would brag about his past but I guess he can't because he has too much to hide!!
