Now that we have truly green cars like the Volt and Leaf nobody really has any excuse to be driving gasoline based cars that rape mother nature whenever they are driven. These cars are a major contributor to global warming, the better these old dinosaurs are put down the better. The government has made the right moves by phasing out the old light bulbs in favor of new more green light bulbs, should the government take the same approach, and phase out fuddy duddy gasoline based cars, and make it illegal for car companies to sell cars that use gasoline from now on? We have the technology, so there's no excuse. Also, in 2015 it should become illegal to drive a car that uses gasoline. This will be enough time for everyone to upgrade. We have the opportunity to get every gas guzzler off the road in five years time, the question is will our government be bold enough to do what needs to be done?
