Should I write a story about a orphan or people adoptin an orphan?

Ok so I wa. Thinking about either writing a story about an orphan who's 13 and noone want to adopt so she decides to run away and goes through series of poblems or should I write a story about a family adopting an orphan and there's so
thing wierd about the orphan but there not sure what's going on and it turns out the orphan is stealing and other crap
