I just got my retainers today, and I still don't have the hang of talking with them in. So, I was thinking about just taking them out for my scene tomorrow that is my final for my drama class. The scene is only a few minutes, and I would put the retainer back in right after. The problem is, though, I have fake teeth attached to my retainer, teeth that never grew in. The gaps in my mouth are right next to my front two teeth, so I look buck toothed and like a rabbit without the fake teeth. What would be worse on stage? The buck teeth or the lack of enunciation?
Should I wear my retainers when I perform a Shakespeare scene for drama?
